At its core, Prophetboy is grounded in spirituality and purpose. Faith means trusting in God, believing in yourself, and staying aligned with higher values even in a world full of distractions. It’s about keeping integrity, walking with humility, and remembering that everything achieved is ultimately for a greater glory than just ourselves.
The movement emphasizes relentless hard work, discipline, and resilience. Grind means putting in the hours—whether on the basketball court, in the gym, or in life’s pursuits—without shortcuts. It’s about being consistent, hungry, and willing to outwork the competition while staying authentic to your values.
Prophetboy is not just about personal success, but also about leaving a mark. Impact means inspiring others, giving back to your community, mentoring the next generation, and showing through action that success is possible while staying true to your faith and principles. It’s the ripple effect—using your gifts to uplift others.
Elijah played at Windward High School in Los Angeles, California where he won two state championships and was named 1st Team All-Conference. His grandfather is Richard “Pee Wee” Kirkland, a storied figure in New York’s streetball history, who reportedly influenced Elijah’s work ethic and approach to the game. Elijah attended Los Angeles Valley College (often abbreviated LAVC) and played college basketball there.
Elijah still continues to play basketball at a high-level. He has won multiple championships playing in Semi-Pro leagues in the Los Angeles area. Elijah is consistently averaging 25 points per game and had a career high game where he scored 53 points in one game. Elijah does not take playing basketball for granted and feels truly blessed to play and help others achieve their basketball goals.
In an interview on CanvasRebel, Elijah shares some of his creative background, stating that in 2018 he lived with his mother and she encouraged him to lean into his creativity and start projects.
